S7 Airlines gets permission for flights to Georgia

MOSCOW. August 18. KAZINFORM Russia's S7 Airlines (Siberia Airlines) has got permission from the Russian authorities for flights to Georgia, airline carrier's sources told the Prime-Tass economic news agency on Wednesday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
Flights between Georgia and Russia were stopped on August 9, 2008 because of the August 2008 war between Georgia and South Ossetia.
Russian flagship carrier Aeroflot and S7 Airlines used to operate flights from Moscow to Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi.
