Global Classroom is a classroom equipped with necessary devices for online lectures and seminars in politics, economy, international relations, and culture of South Korea. A $19 thousand grant from Kookmin Bank and the Korea Foundation helped the project become reality. The university has been implementing another Korea Foundation's project since 2013 - Global e-School Program together with Hanyang University (South Korea) within which Kazakhstani students are taught by Korean lecturers. In general, Masters and PhD students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were offered eight online lectures in Oriental Studies and International Relations in the English and Korean languages under the program starting from 2012.
