Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 7. KAZINFORM President of the Russia Federation Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kazakhstan this morning, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
Russian leader Putin came to Kazakhstan right after the opening ceremony of the 2013 World University Games in Kazan on Saturday.
According to President's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Putin is in the Central Asian republic on the occasion of Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev's birthday.
"During a telephone conversation earlier, Vladimir Putin congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on his birthday and wished him good health and wellbeing. He said he looks forward to the meeting and that it is a wonderful opportunity to discuss relevant issues of bilateral relations," said Peskov.
