Russian man fails to smuggle diesel oil from Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A citizen of the Russian Federation has been detained in North Kazakhstan region for an attempt to smuggle diesel oil, Kazinform has learned from the Frontier Service of the Kazakh National Security Committee.
The 36-year-old Russian man tried to smuggle 2.7 tons of diesel oil and 130 liters of petrol in a GAZel vehicle from Kazakhstan to Russia. The border patrol confiscated the diesel oil and petrol and took the alleged smuggler into custody. An investigation was launched.
