Russian FM expected in Kazakhstan on May 13-14
ASTANA. May 10. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov is expected to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan and meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev on May 13-14," official spokesman of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Askar Abdrakhmanov told a briefing.
The Russian FM will have talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and have bilateral negotiations with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kazykhanov.
The parties are supposed to focus on issues concerning strengthening of Russian-Kazakh regional and trans-border cooperation, energy and space interaction, and efficient fulfillment of the Joint Action Plan for 2011-2012, approved by the Joint Statement of the Heads of State last December.
