ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh border guards have confiscated numismatics items from the citizens of the Russian Federation, the Frontier Service of Kazakhstan's National Security Committee informs.
Zhanibek border guard officers took into custody 4 citizens of the Russian Federation, who made their way out of the Republic of Kazakhstan by "Toyota Land Cruiser" car. Border guards inspected the vehicle and found 2 boxes of coins, manufactured in 1846, including more than 230 pieces and 3 packages of products made of non-ferrous metal (rings, buttons, pins, badges, bracelets, etc.), as well as special tools for search operations - 4 metal detectors. The investigation is underway.
