Russian air carrier returns to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Russian airline Aeroflot is returning to Kazakhstan after a long break. As of March 10, the company will start operations covering the Moscow-Karaganda-Moscow route, its official website says.

After returning to Kazakhstani market, Aeroflot plans to expand the number of direct flights to the second largest country in the CIS. "We are constantly updating the destinations network by introducing new routes in Russia and abroad and enhance flight rate for the most popular destinations," Vitaly Saleviev, Director General of Aeroflot JSC announced. "And in that respect Kazakhstan for us is of paramount importance."

Currently, Aeroflot offers a routine direct flight en route Moscow-Karaganda-Moscow. To celebrate the launch of the flight, the company announced a special discount on airline tickets in February.
