Russian, Afghan presidents to discuss drug trafficking

MOSCOW. January 20. KAZINFORM Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai will on Friday discuss bilateral cooperation, including joint efforts to counter drug trafficking in the region, the Kremlin press service said on Thursday. Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
Karzai is due in Moscow on Thursday on a two-day visit.
The focus of bilateral talks will be on assistance to facilitate Afghanistan's development and promote regional cooperation, in particular within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
