The plane will leave Moscow on May 20 carrying medicine and school supplies including text books and teaching materials, an FSB border guard serving in Abkhazia told RIA Novosti. The plane will also be carrying doctors from the FSB hospital in Golitsyno, near Moscow, who will be providing treatment in Abkhazia's Galsky District until the end of May. Abkhazia, as well as South Ossetia, were recognized as independent states by Russia after last summer's war with Georgia, which followed Georgia's attack on South Ossetia, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
