Russia suggests establishment of supranational regulation in customs affairs of Customs Union member states
MOSCOW. January 28. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Russia suggests its partners on the Customs Union to establish a supranational regulation in the customs affairs of three states. First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov said it following the session of the Customs Union's Commission.
"Taking into account the prospects of formation of the Single Economic Space in future the Russian side proposes its partners to discuss opportunities of supranational regulation in the customs affairs and in carrying out clearing and settlement while assigning the funds received in form of customs duties.
"We agreed to discuss this issue as soon as certain expert proposals are submitted", he said.
As First Vice PM of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev noted, the Kazakh side would consider the proposal of Russia on the governmental level.
