Russia stops servicing Ukraine's AeroSvit jets over debts

MOSCOW. January 26. KAZINFORM Russia has stopped servicing jets of the Ukrainian airlines AeroSvit because of its debts, a spokesman for the Russian Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) informed on Friday, Itar-Tass reported.
According to the spokesman, the company was due to pay a sum of 697,000 U.S. dollars for air navigation services it received in November 2012 by January 24, 2013. Since the company has failed to fulfill its obligations, Russia stopped servicing its planes from 00:00 Moscow time on January 25, Rosaviatsia said.
