Russia's Sberbank and Astana EXPO 2017 sign memo of coop

Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov, chairman of the board of Sberbank of Russia JSC German Gref, chairman of the board of Sberbank Subsidiary Bank JSC Alexander Kamalov and Talgat Yermegiyayev, chairman of the board of Astana EXPO-2017 National Company, attended the signing ceremony. "Sberbank will help Kazakhstan prepare and hold EXPO 2017 and contribute to realization of the tasks aimed at joining the top 30 the most developed countries of the globe," Gref said. The bank will render all-round support; fund the project through the public-state partnership. It will also provide banking services to affiliated companies of Astana EXPO 2017 JSC in the regions and participate in the EXPO 2017 brand development process among its clients both in Russia and Kazakhstan.
