Russia presents new plane at Air Show in Le Bourget

LE BOURGET. June 16. KAZINFORM The 48th International Air Show opened in Le Bourget on Monday at which Russia will display its new passenger plane - Sukhoi Superjet- 100, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The Le Bourget Air Show is celebrating its centenary this year. It is a first event in a vast program undertaken in the framework of the Year of Russia in France and the Year of France in the Russian Federation, said a source from the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical cooperation.
Traditionally, the biggest expositions are displayed by Russia, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Spain, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, the United States and France.
The "Rostekhnologia" state corporation is the organizer of the Russian exposition at Le Bourget Show. A total of 48 Russian organizations will display their expositions on the territory of 2,000 square meters, including a 350-meter section given to organizations of the Russian defense- industrial complex that will advertise their production numbering more than 500 items with half of them intended for the military sector.
The debut of Sukhoi super jet -100 passenger plane is expected to be a hit of the Air Show because is the only new passenger plane visitors to the Air Show will see during demonstration flights.
