Russia boosts gas exports to Europe by 26%

MOSCOW. June 30. KAZINFORM Russian state-owned gas monopoly Gazprom boosted exports to Europe by 26 percent during the first half of this year, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said Thursday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

Miller told the annual meeting of shareholders that in absolute terms the increase amounted to 26.6 billion cubic meters.

He said revenues were expected to expand considerably this year as Gazprom plans to supply at least 155 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe.

"We will set a new record for foreign currency revenues," he was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
