Addressing the ambassador Anatoly Rubinov noted that the three years of work of Anatoly Smirnov in Belarus were very fruitful. "Your personal charisma, an ability to build relations helped to promote the cooperation between the two countries," he said. The speaker emphasized the personal contribution of the ambassador to the establishment and development of the Single Economic Space.

According to BelTA, successful cooperation of Belarus and Kazakhstan is also due to the positions of the heads of state. "Of course, the major factor of close ties is similar views of the presidents of the two countries. The two presidents meet regularly and are promoting a policy of closer cooperation and engagement," Anatoly Rubinov said.

"We are glad about the way Kazakhstan is developing. It is a fantastic progress. Kazakhstan is turning into a strong and influential country with a powerful economy," the speaker said.

Talking about the recent parliamentary election in Kazakhstan, Anatoly Rubinov said, "Despite certain statements, we believe that the observers saw everything with their own eyes and gave an objective evaluation - the election was fair. It is natural that some countries and politicians are trying to find some crack and escalate the situation in the country, especially against the backdrop of the Single Economic Space".

Anatoly Smirnov thanked Anatoly Rubinov for the work, support and kind words about Kazakhstan. The ambassador thanked MPs for active participation in the events held by the embassy.
