Romanian President supports holding OSCE Summit in Astana

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Romanian President Traian Basescu supports the holding of the OSCE Summit in Astana. He said it today at the enlarged meeting with Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev in Akorda.
T.Basescu congratulated Kazakhstan on the OSCE chairmanship and noted that the Romanians have their own experience in the chairmanship in the Organization.
"We held this office in 2001 and I can state that at the end of the chairmanship Romania became more recognizable in the world arena and", the Romanian President said.
He also noted that the meeting promotes strengthening of the agreements between two states achieved in Bucharest in 2007.
