Romanian Ambassador Emil Rapcea: Over a month of its OSCE chairmanship Kazakhstan held huge and important activities

ANA. February 18. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Kazakhstan Emil Rapcea; Kazinform refers to the Lower House's press service.

"Over a month of its chairmanship in the OSCE Kazakhstan has held huge and important activities", the diplomat noted. According to him, Kazakhstan's proposals on holding of the OSCE Summit in Astana and Conference in Almaty are commonly welcomed.

It was mention that the new impetus to Kazakh-Romanian bilateral relations will give the Romanian President's visit to Kazakhstan scheduled for March. Along with trade-economic cooperation the two states have potential of expanding cultural, educational and other humanitarian spheres. Interparliamentary contacts represent another perspective direction.

The diplomat extended an invitation to U. Mukhamedzhanov on behalf of his Romanian colleague to visit the country at any convenient time.

The parties also discussed the priorities of the OSCE and new opportunities of Kazakhstan outlined in the January President's Address.
