Road development program realized in West Kazakhstan region

URALSK. January 28. KAZINFORM. /Yelzhan Yeraly/ Regional program of road development for 2007-2012 is implemented in West Kazakhstan region.

According to the regional Akimat, KZT 3.7 billion was allocated from the local budget to the construction, repair and maintenance of roads. KZT 3.5 billion out of them has already been utilized.

The highways "Zhampity-Karatobe", "Aksai-Shangyrlau", "Chapayev-Zhanakala-Saikhyn" are reconstructed at the expense of the republican budget.

KZT 1.3 billion was invested into reconstruction of the highway passing from the border of the Russian Federation via Uralsk and Aktobe, capital repair of "Chapayev-Zhalpaktal-Kaztalov" highway, repair of the bridges over the rivers Solyanka and Barbastau and some other roads.

KZT 800 million was allocated for repair and maintenance of the region's roads within the framework of Road Map program.
