Road accident leaves 5 injured in Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. August 19. KAZINFORM Two vehicles overturned and fell into a road ditch causing multiple injuries among drivers and passengers on the Karaganda-Abai highway in the Karaganda region, the police say.
A Subaru Forester and Opel Omega cars heading to the town of Abai turned turtle and fell into a road ditch on the Karaganda-Abai motorway on August 18. According to the police statement, both drivers failed to control their vehicles.
As a result of the road accident, five passengers of the cars were taken to the nearest hospital with various injuries. An investigation is underway.
