Road accident in Crimea leaves 2 Chinese diplomats with traumas
KIEV. September 25. KAZINFORM China's Military Attache and a Deputy-Consul of the Chinese embassy in Kiev got severe traumas Thursday in a road accident in the Crimea, Kiev-based Inter television channel said quoting physicians, who described the Deputy-Consul's condition as "very difficult", Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
Ukraine's Interior Ministry did not confirm the fact of the accident, however.
Officials at the section for inquiries into road accidents at the city police department in the southern Crimean beach city of Yalta said the cars from the escort of the Chinese delegation collided with a Zhiguli car of Russian make.
The Zhiguli's driver died on the spot.
Crimean electronic media uploaded photos from the site of the accident. They feature two smashed cars - a black Medsedez and a whitish Zhiguli, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com for full version.
