RK, Russia reached agr't on zero duty rate for import of planes to Kazakhstan - First Vice PM

ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan and Russia have reached an agreement on zero duty rate for importing planes to Kazakhstan. First Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has said it at the roundtable on the Customs Union held in the House of Ministries in Astana today.

According to Shukeyev, the parties agreed to remove 20% duty for import of planes in the Customs Union. Kazakhstani side insists on establishment of a transition period till 2015. Currently, the issue regarding the terms of transition period is being negotiated.
