RK Ambassador Dulat Kuanyshev presented credentials to President of India Pratibha Patil
ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Dulat Kuanyshev has presented credentials to President of India Pratibha Patil at her Rashtrapati Bhavan official residence in New Delhi, the press service of the MFA reports.
Within the official ceremony Pratibha Patil expressed interest in development and strengthening strategic partnership between two countries, which had been laid during the Kazakh President's visit to India in January 2009. As is known, N. Nazarbayev visited India as an honored guest of the festive events dedicated to celebration of the Day of Republic of India. Alongside, Pratibha Patil highlighted activation of the relations within the international organizations like the SCO and the CICA.
In turn, Dulat Kuanyshev informed the Indian President of Kazakhstan's achievements in political, economic and social spheres, as well as the steps taken by our country as the chair of the OSCE.
Speaking on economic cooperation, the Indian President agreed with the heads of diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan on necessity of activation of mutual investments attraction. Pratibha Patil also expressed interest in the upcoming celebration of the Day of Astana.
