Rixos Hotels interested in Kazakhstan's Kenderli resort
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Rixos Hotels, Turkey has expressed interest in Kenderli resort in the Mangystau region, Kazakhstan, Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev revealed the news at a government's hour at the Majilis, lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, on Monday.
"The hotel chain is interested in the development of Kenderli resort. By the way, investors for many promising projects in Kazakhstan have been found. For instance, Kok Zhailau ski resort near Almaty and a cottage village on the territory of Burabai special economic zone in the Akmola region. Minister Issekeshev also said that roadmaps for five regions of Kazakhstan have been drawn up together with experts of the largest Canadian, Germany, Spanish and Croatian consulting companies. The new Tourism Industry Development Concept until 2020 has been developed based on those roadmaps.
