Resource saving farming discussed in Astana

ANA. July 8. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ - The international consulting conference titled 'No-Till and Diversification as Basis of Agro Policy of Resource Saving Farming for Sustainable Development ' kicked off today in Astana. "The world's modern farming is oriented to the null-till technology. Many countries do the farming without soil treatment in fast acres, and the obvious advantage of no-till technologies is moister and resource saving", - Agriculture Minister Akhylbek Kurishbayev said addressing the conference.
The Minister urged to introduce and apply modern technologies adapted to the soil and climate conditions of various areas of Kazakhstan.
The conference will continue work until July 9-10 in Shortandy village, Akmola region.
