Rescuers find lost small girl who spent 4 nights in forest
BIROBIDZHAN. July 10. KAZINFORM. Rescuers only by dusk on July 9 found a seven-year-old girl who got lost and spent three days and four nights in a forest; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The girl, Yulya Kaldyba from the village of Dezhnevo in the Jewish Autonomous Region, is in hospital now in the village of Leninskoye. She got very weak, was scratched by bush and bitten by mosquitoes when she went around the forest. Besides, her organism is dehydrated because she did not eat and drink anything all this time, a source at the regional department for emergencies told Itar-Tass.
Yulya and her friends, a five-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, on July 6 decided to go to the village of Kvashino, six kilometres away from Dezhnevo, to visit the boy's grandmother. The children went aside from the road to shorten their way and got lost in the forest. The boy and the other girl went to Kvashino in the midnight, after they saw lights and heard dance music at a disco party in the village from a distance.
