Republican seminar on nanotechnologies for secondary school teachers kicks off in Astana
ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ "Nanotechnologies in the System of Modern School Education" republican educational seminar for teachers of physics and chemistry has been opened today at the L.Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana.
Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, chairman of the department of nuclear physics, new materials and technologies of the University Kazbek Baktybekov noted addressing the secondary school teachers that it is necessary to start training of specialists for the national science yet in school. "We hope that our school students will start working in the field of nanotechnologies. We want to acquaint you with what we have. Before you start working on projects in the nanotechnologies field together with your students you must start this work yourself", the chairman said.
The main purpose of the seminar is to train teachers to use nanotechnologies in teaching physics and chemistry at secondary school. The seminar was organized by "Daryn" Republican Scientific-Practical Center of the Kazakh Ministry of Education together with the L.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
