Reps of Kazakhstan law-enforcement agencies visited Germany
BERLIN. September 23. KAZINFORM As part of "Promotion of legal statehood in Central Asia" project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) representatives of Kazakhstan's law-enforcement agencies visited Germany.
The delegation consisting of representatives of the Presidential Administration, Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Ministry of Justice, Prosecutor General's Office, National Security Committee, Interior Ministry and the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption visited German cities of Leipzig, Karlsruhe and Wiesbaden.
In Leipzig, the Kazakh side held a number of meetings with the state and city courts of Saxony, and got familiarized with administrative procedures, including lawsuits on administrative offenses.
In Karlsruhe, the delegation held talks with the Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Supreme Court. In Wiesbaden, meetings were organized at the headquarters of the Federal Criminal Police Office, and in the Ministry of Justice and the Prosecutor's Office of the State of Hesse.
The event was organized in the framework of cooperation of Kazakhstan and the European Union on provision of legal assistance to the countries of Central Asia and made a significant practical contribution to further harmonization of Kazakhstan's legislation in line with European and international standards.
