Reps of five political parties are among candidates for Senate seat - CEC Chairman

TANA. August 18. KAZINFORM /Olzhas Askarov/ This year's candidates for Senate seat are for 10 persons more than in 2008.
Chairman of Kazakhstan Central Election Commission Kuandyk Turgankulov has said at a meeting with representatives of the Russian and Ukrainian mass media.
"There are 98 candidates in whole," K.Turgankulov informed.
"Nur Otan People's Democratic Party showed the greatest activity. Besides, there are representatives of four parties among the candidates - "Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan", "Auyl", "Rukhaniyat" and "Akzhol", the Chairman said.
At present, 39 candidates for Senate seat are registered in Central Election Commission.
