Reps of ethnic-cultural centers awarded in Astana

ASTANA. October 26. KAZINFORM. /Valentina Yelizarova/ A presentation of awards for contribution to enhancement of interethnic unity, public consent and development of tolerance was held during the extended sitting of the Council of the Kazakhstan People's Assembly in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
A number of representatives of the regional ethnic and cultural centers were awarded with merit certificates and letters of thanks from the People's Assembly by Secretary of State - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev.
Besides, the heads of eight ethnic and cultural centers were awarded with the President's prizes of the Fund on Support of Culture, Education and Social Programs.
