Religious congress to contribute to the global dialogue of religions, World Buddhist Fellowship Vice-President
ANA. July 1. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has held meetings with the participants of the Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions, Kazinform has learnt from the President's press service.
Vice-President of the World Buddhist Fellowship Choijiljab Dambajav thanked President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the invitation to take part in the religious congress and expressed confidence that this forum will make a great contribution to the development of the global interreligious dialogue.
Advisor to the Iranian President Director of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations Seyed Mehdi Mostavafi also pointed out the importance of holding the Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions and its special role in expansion of the cultural relations between the countries for the purpose of international accord. The issues of Kazakh-Iranian cultural relations were also touched upon.
