Regular session of CICA Senior Officials Committee to be held in Baku
ASTANA. March 9. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ A regular session of the Senior Officials Committee of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is planned to be held in Baku on March 12 under the chairmanship of Kazakh Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Nurlan Yermekbayev.
The session aims at discussion of preparation for the III Summit of the CICA presidents and prime ministers scheduled for June 7-9 in Istanbul.
"The parties will discuss a draft Concept of the CICA on Privileges and Immunities, a draft political declaration of the CICA's III Summit and a concept of Turkish chairmanship in the Organization for 2010-2012", Askar Abdrakhmanov, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakh Foreign Office informed at a weekly briefing today.
Besides, the agenda of the sitting provides for a multilateral discussion of a package of measures in military-political, economic and ecological dimensions called to ensuring security and confidence in Asia.
