Recent events in Kyrgyzstan showed necessity of close cooperation of int'l organizations: K.Saudabayev

BRUSSELS. April 28. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ "Recent events in Kyrgyzstan showed a necessity of close cooperation of international organizations", OSCE Chairman-in-office, Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev said at the briefing upon the results of the Foreign Ministers meeting in format of "EU - Central Asian countries".

As the Kazakh Secretary of State noted, due to joint efforts of the EU, OSCE and the UN special envoys were sent to Kyrgyzstan the next day after the crisis, which made every effort to settle the situation at the place.

Addressing Chairman of the European Union - Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos K.Saudabayev said that the EU fairly complimented the key role of Nursultan Nazarbayev as the President of the country chairing the OSCE. "Joint efforts of Kazakhstan, Russia and the USA allowed to escape further escalation of violence in Kyrgyzstan and prevented a civil war", the State Secretary said.

The sides agreed to augment efforts for Kyrgyzstan's return to legal framework and the country could step on the path of constitutional development as soon as possible.
