This has been stated by Chairman of the Board - President of "NC" KTZ" JSC Askar Mamin at the VIII International Rail Business Forum" Strategic Partnership 1520 ", which takes place May 30-31 in Sochi.

He recalled that Kazakhstan was actively involved in the distribution of traffic between the European and Asian markets, and planned to expand its role in this regard.

"Today the company, in fact, under 'one umbrella' attracted assets of other modes of transport. This is an 'airport' infrastructure, we have accepted it from the point of view of formation and increase transit, primarily, air acrgo. This is also a port infrastructure in the Caspian Sea ", said A. Mamin.

However, he noted that the lack of elaborated sea ports on the Caspian Sea creates a narrow "bottleneck" in the whole transport system. "We are now planning to develop dry cargo transportation in the Caspian Sea. This is done in order to form a unified supply chain, which would allow shippers to work on a "one stop shop" with the formation of a unified tariff policy ", said A. Mamin.

"Our plans are fully correlated with the development of maritime, port and infrastructure aerportovoy," said the head of KTZ. " We're taking our first steps and position ourselves in the market as a single transport company. There will be a corresponding re-branding of the company until the end of the year. "

He also added that as part of a single logistics operator of the Customs Union of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus should address a number of issues: the uniform tariff policy and a single integrated system, providing container transport.
