Rains to batter Kazakhstan Fri

The greater part of Kazakhstan is set to face today's rains while the east and southeast are to brace for thundershowers, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.
High wind and fog are in store throughout the country.
Ground frosts are expected in East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Aktobe, North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.
The high fire threat remains in effect in Aktobe, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.
Mangistau, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Abai, Karaganda, Almaty and Aktobe regions are forecast to brace today for the extremely high fire hazard locally.
