Rain, thunderstorm predicted in most of Kazakhstan on April 16

According to Kazhydromet in Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Kyzylorda regions will be foggy. Wind of 15-23 mps with thunderstorm is expected to hit Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan regions. Strong wind of 15-20 mps is also predicted for Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, West Kazakhstan regions. Fog will blanket Karaganda region. In the next day on the rivers of Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda and some rivers of Kostanay and Aktobe regions further development of spring flood, sharp rises in water levels is expected. Complex hydrological conditions still remain in Karaganda region. Rainfall and snowmelt in East Kazakhstan region will cause further rising of water levels. Spills and flooding is possible.
