Rain, snow and ice-slick in store for Kazakhstan

Heavy snow and rain are forecast to grip the country’s southeast, while the southwest is set to brace for heavy downpours and thunderstorms.

The south and north of Kazakhstan are predicted to enjoy weather without precipitation today.

Fog, high wind and ice-slick are reported countrywide.

Ground frosts of 1-6 degrees Celsius are expected to grip Kyzylorda, Turkistan, and Zhambyl regions at nighttime.
