Rain and snow to batter Kazakhstan Oct 15
Due to the anticyclone ridge, the greater part of the country is to brace for rain and snow on October 15. Mountainous areas of the southern, southeastern regions are set to face rain and snow, while the country’s southeast is forecast to brace for heavy rains, and the east, south, and central part are to see snow in the nighttime, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Kazhydromet.
Weather without precipitation is expected in the northwest, north parts of Kazakhstan. High wind as well as fog is expected at nighttime and in the morning.
The country’s center will observe blizzard, as well as black ice is predicted in the east, south, center and mountainous areas of the southeast of the country.
The North, Kyzylorda regions and mountainous areas of the Turkistan region will see temperature drop to -1C -6C at night.
The fire threat remains high in Karaganda, West Kazakhstan, south of the West Kazakhstan, center, and north of Kyzylorda region.
The extremely high fire hazard is in place in Atyrau and West Kazakhstan.
