Railway destroyed by fire in Zhambyl region

ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM A fire has destroyed 300 meters of railway in Zhambyl region, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry for Emergency Situations.
A train en route Zhanatas-Taraz caught fire in Zhambyl region on Wednesday (June 12). The fire spread from the train to the railway and covered an area of 620 square meters, thus, destroying 300 meters of railway tracks.
Local firefighters put out the fire on the spot. Afterwards the damaged railways tracks were replaced. No casualties were reported.
