Quake felt in Almaty region

The network of seismic stations recorded an earthquake on November 2 at 10:50 am. Astana time, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry’s press service.
The quake was centered on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China approximately 285 km southeast of Almaty. The magnitude 2 earthquake was felt in Narynkol and Kegen villages in Almaty region, it said in a statement.
No casualties or damages were reported.
Earlier a Magnitude 4.6 quake jolted Kyrgyzstan.
