"Public Service Centers will accept applications for participation in "Bolashak" Program. We have already developed specific regulations of the public service which was approved by the Government and included in the register of public services provided by the Ministry of Education and Science," S.Nurbek said.

According to him, multifunctional information system E-Bolashak is presently put into service. The system will be integrated with the e-government portal. Thus, citizens of Kazakhstan from any region of the country having Internet access will be able to submit applications for participation in the Program.

"We plan to take things a step further and provide all citizens of Kazakhstan having electronic digital signatures with an opportunity to submit their applications via e-government portal," the President of the Center said.

The procedure of selection of applicants was reconsidered this year as well. The applications are submitted in the regions as well started from this year. Thus, the Center employees visited 14 regional centers and Almaty.

It is worth noting that an information campaign was started in the country this year in order to ensure transparence and availability of the Program implementation. "The information campaign was more transparent this year. Special emphasis was placed on electronic mass media. Popular internet portals, news portals and social networks were widely used," Sayat Nurbek emphasized.

Since the last year, representatives of mass media attend interviews with the applicants in order to ensure transparency of the selection process. The interview questions are available on the website of the Center and applicants can prepare for the interview. Results of the interviews are posted on the website immediately after corresponding protocol is signed, the President of the Center said.

"We hope to increase transparency and availability and, moreover, increase confidence in the Program with the help of these measures," Sayat Nurbek said.
