Public-private partnership to improve quality of Kazakhstanis life - President of Japanese Association of Private Finance Initiative Kazuo Ueda

President of the Japanese Association of Private Finance Initiative Kazuo Ueda, participant of a conference of the world's public-private partnership centers held within the III Astana Economic Forum today, said.

"Earlier public-private partnership was applied for construction of airports, major highways - for large infrastructure projects. After the crisis, people realized necessity of public services in such spheres as healthcare, education. Thus, the demand for social infrastructure increases. And public-private partnership will be applied in this sector in future", Kazuo Ueda considers.

Recently Japan has implemented a program on construction of social facilities which is similar with Kazakhstan's 100 schools, 100 hospitals state program. According to K. Ueda, Kazakhstan has favorable conditions for realization of such programs through public-private partnership.
