Prospects of activity of CSTO member states within OSCE discussed in Moscow
COW. March 26. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states discussed topical issues of cooperation within the OSCE. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov maid it public Thursday at the press conference upon the results of the informal meeting of Heads of Foreign Ministries of the CSTO member states in Moscow.
According to him, special attention was paid to the issues of cooperation on the international arena. Tasks that are solved by the CSTO member states within the OSCE were discussed.
"Kazakhstan chairs the OSCE this year and within the frameworks of the work conducted by the Organization we agreed to further promotion of the initiatives stated and introduced by the CSTO member states to the Organization. These initiatives concern principal issues of the OSCE activity, and we fully admitted their topicality within the discussions held in the OSCE at the present and devoted to the common approach to the European security", S.Lavrov said.
