Professor from University of Belgrade held master class in Almaty
ALMATY. February 24. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Professor of the Medicine Faculty of the University of Belgrade, member of the European Society of Cardiology Sinisa Stojkovic held a master class in Almaty cardiology center yesterday.
A theoretical seminar "On the issues of treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction from the viewpoint of interventional cardiologists, Serbian experience. Coronary stent and diabetes mellitus" aroused great interest among local cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and emergency doctors.
As is known, the coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the maim reasons of hospitalization and mortality in the world.
The CAD treatment is one of the most topical, socially important tasks of the international and national healthcare. Timely and accurate diagnosis of the coronary artery atherosclerosis is the most important task set before the Kazakh medicine, the participants of the master class noted.
