Process of security modernization should be spread all over the world and not be limited to Europe: S.Abdykarimov
ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "The process of security modernization should be spread all over the whole world and not be limited to Europe", Kazakh Ambassador-at-large to the OSCE Serzhan Abdykarimov has said today at the seminar on tolerance and nondiscrimination in Astana.
"In order to realize the Helsinki Agreement, the OSCE Mediterranean Contact Group established a range of different seminars, devoted to the stages of realization of the Agreement. Today's seminar became possible due to the OSCE Partnership Fund. Our main task is to struggle against terrorism and support the groups of population that became victims of such aggressive groups", S.Abdykarimov noted.
According to him, the OSCE Mediterranean Contact Group held numerous discussions on a range of topics. During the period of partnership the members of the Group shared opinions and elaborated political proposals for different councils. Kazakhstan chairs the Group for the first time.
The seminar is a special event, organized by our country as the chairman of the Contact Group and the country having significant experience in preservation of tolerance between nations.
