Problems of world tourist industry caused by crisis to be discussed in Astana
ASTANA. July 28. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ - A special report on influence of economic recession on tourism industry will be delivered at the 18th session of the World Tourist Organization General Assembly , General Secretary Francesco Frangialli informed Tuesday at the press conference.
«The world economic crisis has affected all spheres, including tourist industry. Therefore the report to be delivered in October at the 18th session of the WTO General Assembly in Astana will be important. Also a special commission will be formed to elaborate recommendations on this issue. We plan to discuss the ways to resolve the problems of tourist industry», - Francesco Frangialli commented.
More than 500 foreign guests will participate in the session, he said. "No doubt, this event will have a positive effect on promotion of the image of Kazakhstan in the world», - he added.
