Problems of 4,227 home owners to be solved in Almaty

ALMATY. September 17. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Over the period of January-August 2009 the pace of housing construction has accelerated by 45.7% as compared to the analogous period of 2008; Kazinform refers to Almaty Department of Economy and Budget Planning.
From the beginning of the year 685.3 thousand square meters of housing was put into service. As of September 1, 50 residential estates with 10,310 homeowners are under construction in Almaty. Due to the program of housing sector support and solution of real estate market problems 13 residential estates were put into operation, 543 housing investors received new apartments.
In whole it is planned to launch 29 residential estates with participation of 4,277 home owners in 2009.
