Prince of Monaco visited British school in Almaty
ALMATY. November 7. KAZINFORM Prince Albert II of Monaco visited British school Haileybury Almaty in Almaty during his visit to Kazakhstan.
The school was built thanks to charity donations of local businessmen. It is based on the well-known model of private independent schools of England - Haileybury, which for over 150 years, has been one of the leading UK educational institutions.
Traditionally, the school curriculum is one of the leaders in cultural education and physical development of students. Students and teachers at the school showed guests from Monaco their abilities and talents.
The guests noted good physical training of students, saw a fragment school's theater play "Peter Pan", and visited lessons of design technology and art.
Albert II watched a fragment of a film together with the students - members of the French film club and gladly participated in the school choir rehearsal, performing the song together with the students.
"I was very pleased to spend this time with you, your beautiful country can be proud of such kids," Prince of Monaco said.
