Prince of Belgium to attend Kazakh-Belgian business forum in Astana
ASTANA. October 11. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ A delegation from Belgium headed by Prince Philippe will pay an official visit to Astana. Representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Askar Abdrakhmanov has made it public today at a briefing in Astana.
"The Prince is expected to hold negotiations with officials of Kazakhstan, heads of a range of Ministries, akimats of Astana and Almaty, national companies. Participants of meetings will discuss the status and prospects of cooperation of the two states in the field of trade, industry and investments", A.Abdrakhmanov said.
The representative of the Ministry also noted that Prince Philippe is planned to take part in the opening ceremony of the Kazakh-Belgian business forum in Astana on October 12 as well. A range of commerce agreements between Kazakhstan and Belgium is expected to be signed upon the results of the forum.
