Prime Minister of Kazakhstan launches People's IPO Program
ASTANA. October 30. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov instructed local agencies actively involved in the work to promote new "People's IPO" Program of Kazakhstan.
"Today we have launched "People's IPO" Program. This decision was preceded by a preparatory, organizational, technical, and financial work. A wide range of issues with international experts, consultants, banks and financial institutions were discussed. A large number of people who use foreign experience were involved into this work," S. Akhmetov said.
The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan stressed that "People's IPO" is the first program of this kind in Kazakhstan, and its success will depend on how well it will promoted among the population.
According to this program, every citizen of Kazakhstan can buy shares of the well-known national company "KazTransOil". "I believe, it is necessary to promote this program among the people of the country. Every citizen of Kazakhstan should receive comprehensive information to make his or her decision. I would like to draw the attention of regions' governors to this work," S. Akhmetov concluded.
