Prime Minister congratulated railroad employees on professional holiday
ANA. July 30. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Prime Minister Karim Massimov has congratulated workers and veterans of Kazakhstan railway on their professional holiday.
The Head of the Government awarded a group of employees with a title and badge "Honorable Railwayman" at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Day of Workers of Transport and Communications. According to the press service of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company, 814 railroad employees were awarded for their contribution to the development of the sector.
Kazakhstan marks the Day of Workers of Transport and Communications on the first Saturday of August.
This year Kazakhstan's railway sector celebrates its 105th anniversary, the Company's press service informs.
The length of the first Kazakh railroad line was 130 km, to date it comprises more than 14 thousand km. 148 000 people are engaged in this sector.
